gojju

sad thing to start with, yes. but since thats what is polished yesterday . . . . .

Ingredients
(random veggie, finely chopped)
mustard seeds, 1 tsp
salt (as required)
tamrind (soaked/paste)
manje/haldi/saffron/arshNa , 1pinch
curry leaves (for flavour)
chilli powder
rasam powder* , 2tsp (or as required)
jaggery (a few pieces)


ok first chop the vegetable u would like to use finele. (This was for bendekai/bendi/lady's finger)
warm some oil in the pan
add the mustard seeds
some arshna
the curry leaves
add the said vegetable
fry till the vegtetable looks cooked
sqeeze the soaked tamrind till the mixture in the pan looks drowned in puLi.
cook for a while
add the salt and the rasam powder
mix well and cook till it gains a pasty consistency.
taste. if it feels bland add some chilli powder/salt/puli whechever the case may be.
